Once the snow melts in Alta, all that moisture creates one of natures most diverse and beautiful wildflower displays that draws people from around the globe to enjoy. Summer also brings a quieter time to Alta.

Without the hustle and bustle of the amount of skiers here in winter, the wildlife of Alta takes over: moose, coyotes and fox to name a few can be spotted on the hillsides around Alta.

The Alta Lodge is open for lunch on Saturdays from 11-2 and Sunday brunch from 9:30-2. The Rustler Lodge hosts brunch on Sundays from 10-2.

Alta is a beautiful and unique setting for weddings. All of the hotels are available to host that "special" day. With the ease of access from Salt Lake City and the unparalleled ambiance of Alta, this is the place that many couples choose to tie the knot.
