The Alta TOWN PARK is open between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. during the summer months only.  It features a volleyball court and bench seating, a swing set and slide for children, barbeque grills and covered picnic tables to help you enjoy your day in the mountains. There is no parking at the park but, you may drive in and drop off heavier items. Entrance to the park is in the Wildcat parking lot in front of the Goldminer's Daughter Lodge.

• Any group of 8 or more persons are required to remove all the garbage generated by their group.

• Large groups (over 75) are required to obtain a permit from the Town Office to insure adequate public safety and health facilities.  The permit does not grant the group exclusive use of the park, which remains open to the public.  The group must notify the Town at least 7 days prior to the intended usage and receive permission.
