The Town of Alta is governed by a Mayor and Town Council comprised of four members.

Current officers are:

  .  Dave Richards - Councilmember - 2012
  .  Paul T. Moxley - Councilmember - 2014 
  .  Cliff Curry- Councilmember - 2014

The Town Council meets every month, on the second Thursday of the month at 9:30 am in the Alta Community Center.  Click here for 2009-20010 council meeting schedule. 

The Town Council also serves as the Appeal Authority which serves as the final arbiter of issues involving the interpretation or application of land use ordinances.
